PDAs were the first portable touch devices my friend. Before that they were used with touch screen crt monitors for license tests and simple search uses on basic pcs.

Everything has to improve just because one company managed to make one object first doesn’t mean another company making something with the same overall feature a “copycat”.
And I do believe the iTouch was not the first Touch Screen Multimedia device…

A camera can be okay but why would I need one when I own a phone and a 12 MP digital camera. (Most people own digital camera’s these days.)
A microphone…it’s an okay feature but again not really a big deal.
Like you said its all about opinion.
I may get the ZuneHD mainly for its HD radio, price, battery life, and the other new features like the web browser. But I am going to wait for about 5 days to see how it goes.
By the way the iPod Nano (5th) failed at camera placement. xD

I heard the Zune HD actually isn’t in High definition but can play and store HD movies and stuff, but it doesn’t display in HD. Yet it does have a higher resolution than the other Zune’s.
Definitely not to go for.

No it’s the 9th of September Apple should be giving information about the touch because you may have heard of the “Buy a mac for school get an iPod touch (2nd gen) free”
Well that offer ends on the 8th to clear stock so they can release the new iPod touch the next day

actually this is bad news, i went to get a shuffle at best buy, and they said they had cleared out the shuffles so i asked for a nano and touch and he said they took them off the shevles because i rumors of a new touch…so i went to alot of other stores and they were out as well….so there has to be an announcment soon….

i’m 85% sure that the zune hd 16gb will be $219.99 and the 32gb will be $289.99 cause when i went to their site i clicked pre-order and it showed the prices. it sounds like a great deal to me apple better add a camera.but the zune h requires you to buy some extra accessories to get the most out of it.

when this comes out (if it does) will stores like best buy stop selling ipod touch 2g?and will the price of the 2g ipod touches be dropped? if the new one has the camera i want it hopefully the price wont be too high.
