they arent that bad. i have had both i pods and a zune and i prefer the zune due to it having a few more features. the gen 2 zunes are very good though.

yeah i learned that a couple of days ago on my friends zune……when my 30 gig goes out i will get a 80 gig or bigger

u can turn off the touch pad in the settings

eh, the touch pad is okay but i like pressing every button to get to something. thats the reason i have a 30 gig still. its more of a personal preference.

My computer is being spaz so i couldnt auto update, so what i have had to do is uninstall and reinstall from the Zune site!

if you already have a zune the software will automatically update. if it dosent automatically update it will ask you to.

zunes have thier own software. it is better than itunes in my opinnion. you see the artwork and you can have a background on it. the sound quality is good but it has no equilizer. but it still sounds as good as an ipod

Thanks for this, might get a Zune as I am sick of ipods and the new ipod classic has a volume cap in the EU so the volume is lower than that of the US ipod classics. Is the volume/sound quality good on the zune? Do you see album artwork, when playing a song, like on the ipod? And also, how do you sync music? Does microsoft have it’s own software for the zune, like ipods have itunes?

i think you can use both. im not 100% sure because i mostly just rip audio from cd’s or torrent the music

I have a question, when you purchase songs wirelessly on the Zune, do you have to use Microsoft Points are can you use regular money from a Credit Card or Bank Account?
